What makes a practice?
I started practicing yoga 19 years ago in Brooklyn , NY. It was after years of promising myself: Someday, I will have a yoga practice. I was 37 years old and a mother of two young children. It seemed very far away.
I mention my age very specifically. One does not need to be 22 to begin a dedicated yoga practice. You can make a beginning at any time. Yoga has taught me this: Your practice is YOURS. Sacred and profound. At times goofy. At times frustrating. Definitely NOT perfect. We come to our mats and emerge again and again. We make these beautiful and funny shapes with our bodies and hopefully find joy and laughter we learn to breathe. To let go. To receive. And soon the yoga magic starts to happen. A kind of wordless transformation begins as we ride the waves of our practice which grows over time. Ultimately, we meet ourselves on our mats. And just maybe find out we are the ones we have been seeking after all. It is never too late and it is never too early! I happily teach Kids Yoga and Mindfulness around town to children 3-8 years of age. |

I have started using Essential oils in my practice and personal wellness. They have quickly become a part of my Doula tool kit as well. Amazing! Click here to order: https://www.youngliving.com/vo/#/signup/new-start?sponsorid=11470877&enrollerid=11470877&isocountrycode=US&culture=en-US&type=member
